That's me...

Being a ceramist is a path – not an easy one, but a truly beautiful one.

It begins with earth. With clay that seeks a new form through my hands. Each piece carries its own soul, slowly and carefully crafted – to the rhythm of nature, not the beat of haste. No firing process can be forced, no glaze can be applied exactly the same way twice. It's a dance between control and letting go.

The hours that pass are hardly seen by anyone. While others sleep, I ponder shapes, colors, new ideas. During the day, I make pottery with clay on my fingers and love in my heart – in the evening, I feed the online shop or the self-service hut, prepare for the next market, answer messages, share my work with the world on Instagram & Facebook. That's part of it too.

Sometimes it's challenging: when pieces break, when a kiln firing disappoints, when you're supposed to be visible – even when you don't feel like it. And yet: I wouldn't want to go any other way. Because there's magic in every piece. Earth energy. Heartfelt joy.

When you hold a piece of it in your hands, you might feel what I mean: It's not "just" ceramics. It's a piece of my soul. And that's what makes it so special.

Whenever you fancy some EarthArt –my self-service hut at the studio in Reisenberg is open for you around the clock. You can browse, discover, and take things with you day & night.
