How is your decorative belly bowl created?

In a protected, relaxed atmosphere, I will create a loving impression of your baby bump with you. With mindful, gentle hand movements, I shape the natural curve – calmly, consciously, and at your own pace.

To protect your skin, I work exclusively with skin-friendly materials. A fine protective layer is placed between the clay and your skin, ensuring no direct contact. Everything should feel pleasant, safe, and respectful.

This creates a very personal keepsake – delicate, natural, and full of meaning.

After your bowl has dried thoroughly with me and undergone its bisque firing at 950 degrees, I will schedule a second appointment with you. During this session, we will glaze your impression together. This appointment will take place at least two weeks after our first meeting.

I will provide you with a diverse selection of glazes and will gladly assist you in making your decision – with inspiration, experience, and an eye for what fits.

Afterwards, I will fire your belly bowl at 1240 degrees. This makes it food-safe and dishwasher-safe. Then you can pick up your finished keepsake from me.

Duration:

Both workshop sessions last approximately 2 hours in total.

The price includes both appointments, two firing processes, my personal guidance, all materials, and drinks.
